Diapering Baby Bottoms, Supporting our Neighbors Experiencing or At-Risk of Homelessness

Bring collected diapers/wipes/food to the drop off location on May 29th!

Our annual Diaper Drive is a community-based donation drive to collect diapers, wipes, and baby food for the people who call HomeAid-built projects their home.

Since 2008, our Diaper Drive has been providing essential items (diapers, wipes, and baby food) to families with babies and toddlers in need in our community. Groups sign up to collect essential items and then bring them to the drop-off location where they are offloaded, sorted, and counted by volunteers.

In 2026, our goal is to collect over 1,000,000 essential items (diapers, wipes, and baby food).

Start collecting diapers, wipes and baby food on Sunday, May 10th (Mother’s Day) and then drop off your diapers on May 29th at our Diaper Drive Thru Drop-Off (9 AM-1 PM) and check out the creatively themed diaper structures. Enjoy food and activities for kids of all ages!

Get Involved

Get involved with the 2026 Essentials Diaper Drive through one of our volunteer and engagement opportunities below. We’re looking for collection sites, volunteer groups, sponsors, donors and more to make this event a big success! The more diapers we collect, the more we can help our neighbors in need!

  • Help offload, sort, and count donations at our Drive Thru Drop-Off on May 29th. Additional volunteer opportunities include: creating Thank You signs, event set up and tear down, hospitality, check in and more. Spots fill up quickly.

  • Donate directly and help us uplift families and others in our community through programs like our Diaper Drive.

  • Sponsorship levels range from $1,250-$25,000. For more information, please contact, Melissa@homeaidocla.org or Amy@homeaidocla.org

  • Participate as a vendor at our Drive Thru Drop-Off on May 29th, we welcome community businesses and organizations to purchase a space for a vendor booth. Vendors have the opportunity to interact with all participating builders, volunteers, trades, sponsors, and donors, as well as the media and press. Vendors are provided with a table and chairs. Vendor tables have a cost of $250.

  • Sign up to collect donations of diapers, wipes, and baby food from your office, church, neighbors, family and more and help us meet our goal of 1 million items! The need is great this year and we need your help to support our neighbors experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
