HomeAid Orange County/Los Angeles is hosting its Holiday Meal Drive, collecting non-perishable food for people and families facing hunger and housing insecurity this year.

The drive-through event takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5.

HomeAid Orange County Los Angeles (HomeAid OCLA), once again in 2025, calls on the community to come together for its annual Holiday Meal Drive, collecting non-perishable food items to support individuals and families facing hunger and housing insecurity.

After the dedication of La Veta Village our Executive Director Gina Cunnigham joined Cal Optima on KNX Radio on July 22nd to discuss the correlations between housing and health care and how both work best when looked at together.

An effort to provide pre-fab housing units to eligible individuals and families who lost their homes during January’s devastating LA wildfires.

HomeAid Orange County is bringing back the popular fundraiser.

Last held in 2012, Project Playhouse will showcase the talents of local home builders while supporting HomeAid’s mission to address homelessness.

The La Veta Village will restore three historic homes and create six units of affordable housing for families and seniors at risk of homelessness.

HomeAid Orange County is looking for lots of diapers and baby food to help families living in Orange County homeless shelters.

“A nest is ideal.

But sometimes birds — or high school students — who take flight also just need a landing place for a while. “

Wearing a Santa Claus hat in front of a small crowd of stakeholders, Costa Mesa Mayor John Stephens struck a cheerful chord, even as he cautioned of the challenging task ahead.

“This is the second year in a row we’ve partnered with HomeAid,” said Ian Burns field team lead at SoCalGas. “We are so happy that people continue to donate and volunteer to the organization.”
