Make HomeKits or CareKits
Providing for Our Unhoused Neighbors
-
CareKits
CareKits are small care packages for our neighbors living on the streets that are filled with snacks, water, socks, sunscreen, a poncho (seasonally), lip balm, and a 211 resource information card. These are made by volunteers during HomeAid CareDays and handed out to people experiencing homelessness on Orange County’s streets.
Our staff will happily make and distribute CareKits for you. Simply donate the funds for the Carekits here and our team will handle assembly and distribution.

HomeKits
HomeKits are small to medium-sized move-in care packages for families who move on from our Family CareCenter to their next, more permanent housing option.
You can make HomeKits at home and donate the assembled HomeKits at our office, you can donate the items for HomeKits online here, through our AmazonSmile Charity list, and our staff will assemble them, or you can donate the funds here for HomeKits and our staff will assemble them.
